Activities
Alpine Skiing
The ski area boasts 335 meters of vertical drop and 20 trails for all levels, as well as a snow park for freestyle enthusiasts.
Mont Grand-Fonds is renowned for the quality of its snow, thanks to its unique microclimate that favors abundant snowmaking and snow retention throughout the season. The panoramic views of the Charlevoix region from the mountain peaks are equally spectacular.
Cross-country skiing
The Mont Grand-Fonds cross-country ski area is located in the Charlevoix region of Quebec, Canada. It offers over 140 km of marked and groomed cross-country ski trails for all levels of skier, from beginner to expert. The trails run through dense forest and offer spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The ski area has a welcome chalet with amenities such as changing rooms, a waxing room and an equipment rental service.
Snowshoeing
Mont Grand-Fonds offers breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. Snowshoeing allows you to explore this natural environment in a respectful way, while offering a unique experience of communion with nature.
In winter, trees are covered in snow, lakes and rivers are frozen, and silence is omnipresent, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. 41km of snowshoeing trails await you.
Versant du Lynx
Fancy some off-piste skiing? Come and challenge the Lynx slope across 8 hectares of undergrowth and clearings! Ideal for carving up the slopes after a storm! This area is accessible by ski lift or by the ascent trail for climbing on skins.
Summer walks
With a summit altitude of 735 metres, a vertical drop of 335 metres and a panoramic view of the river and the Laurentian mountain range, Mont Grand-Fonds boasts one of the most beautiful views in Quebec! There's no doubt that our natural jewel will charm you.
